Objectives

General objective

• Teachers use information and content related to virtual education and the integration of technolgoy in education to design meaningful activities and classes according to the competences needed in the 21st. Century.

Specific objectives

• To provide a blog which contains important information as what virtual education is, what the ISTE Standards are, and others to consider in teaching online in order to achieve students get meaningful learning.
• To recognize the importance of the implementation of ISTE Standards for Educators and Learners  in virtual learning to provide a comfortable environment for students according to the competences needed in this digital area.

Digital competences in the 21st. Century

Introduction

Technology is everywhere so, it is important people develop some digital competences to do activities they want as looking for information to increase their knowledge. People should evaluate if they have developed these competences or they should work to accomplish them.There are five competences people and teachers need to consider to apply them in different contexts because technology is in everything and helps to do things easily.

Digital competences in the 21st. Century

According to Sundara, M. (2019), technology has helped human beings to do activities and tasks, they spend less time and resources which is good for them. However, it is essential people develope five digital competences to have success using technology in real-life contexts. They are the following: 

People can use these competences to integrate adequately technology and take advantage of its benefits nowadays. However, there are people who are not in the technology world.

Conclusion

It is important people evaluate their digital competences to know what they need to perform because technology helps to do activities easily and  they should take advantage of its benefits. In addition, technology can make any family or business feel safer. Therefore, people can integrate technology in everything as paying bills using their virtual banking.
